This manual provides instructions for the installation of safety brackets onto the connector’s flange to mount safety panels.

Assembly steps #

These are assembly instructions for installing safety plates onto bracing brackets to mount safety panels. Before mounting safety plates the following are prerequisites:

grid structural elements are assembled

Step 1 #

Position 15.11 safety bracket to the edge of the connector at the bottom of the column as depicted in the image.

Step 2 #

Fasten 15.11 safety bracket with 2 pcs of 99.91035 L35 bolt.

Step 3 #

Position 15.11 safety bracket to the edge of the connector at the bottom of the column as depicted in the image.

Step 4 #

Fasten 15.54 safety plate with 2 pcs of 99.29 L70 bolt, 2 pcs 99.91001 washer and fasten with 2 pcs of 99.91008 hex nut, 2 pcs 99.91001 washer.

Use the longer bolt when installing the safety bracket. The longer bolt is only needed if there’s an additional safety or structural element on the floor above, such as a bracing bracket or another safety bracket.
