Role #

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will:

  • Design and Develop: Work alongside cross-functional teams to design and establish scalable and efficient software solutions using Golang.
  • Optimize: Pinpoint and apply performance enhancements
  • Troubleshoot: Investigate and resolve complex technical issues and bugs
  • Document: Create and maintain documentation for code, processes, and systems
  • Collaborate: Engage continiously with fellow engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements, simplify and improve
  • Stay updated: Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and Go development ecosystem.

About you #

  • 2+ years of professional experience in software development with focus on Golang
  • Strong proficiency in Go coupled with hands-on skills in Go frameworks and libraries
  • Have worked with and understand PostgreSQL
  • Comfortable in a unix-like setting, ideally GNU/Linux
  • Knowledgeable in container technologies like Docker
  • Understand API design principles
  • Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork
  • You have demonstrated an ability to be curious, ask questions, and work efficiently in dynamic and (sometimes) ambiguous environment.
  • Love to see users enjoying your product.

Language #

English proficiency is essential! In our multi-cultural team we also speak Ukrainian, Hindi, Slovak, French.

Position #

  • Fully remote.
  • Flexible work hours. Your working schedule should have at least 4-hour overlap with business hours of UTC+2 time zone.
  • Benefits include paid vacation and paid sick leave.
  • If you like to travel, you’d be welcome to actively participate in ASRS installations across North America.
