QA Engineer (POSITION INACTIVE)

Role #

As a QA Engineer at Instock, you will:

  • Test Design: Design and maintain test cases, test data, and test scenarios.
  • Test and Validate: Conduct extensive testing on both hardware and software subsystems, executing tests both on physical robots in our lab in Bratislava, Slovakia, and a simulation environment.
  • Report: Report on the testing process through Github issues
  • Maintain Test Environment: Effectively manage test environments and perform the system deployment to the cloud test servers and to multiple robots.
  • Provide Feedback: Provide vital information back to the research and development team to inform ongoing improvements.
  • Collaborate and Support: Assisting developers to troubleshoot problems discovered during the testing process, providing system support for other team members

About you #

  • At least 2 years experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
  • Experience working with version control systems, issue tracking and test management tools.
  • Familiar with Linux environment, basic knowledge of navigating and use of the command line terminal.
  • Knowledge and practical experience working with SQL.
  • Excellent skills in reading and analyzing logs to identify the root cause of a defect.
  • Experience in scripting languages such as bash and python will be a plus.
  • Knowledge of electronic components or robotic solutions, including experience with common libraries like ROS will be a big plus.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with an ability to communicate effectively within a team.
  • You have demonstrated an ability to be curious, ask questions, and work efficiently in dynamic and (sometimes) ambiguous environments.

Language #

  • Native or fluent in Ukrainian.
  • Intermediate English level

  • Based in Bratislava, Slovakia with the requirement to attend the office.
